Sangkhlaburi is a town of 15000 people from many ethnic backgrounds: Karen, Mon, Thais, Chinese, Lao and even Arakanese and Bangladeshis, situated at Khao Laem Reservoir. And it's famous for the wooden Saphan Mon Bridge connecting the town to the Mon village of Ban Wangka.

Three rivers converge here: the Songkhalia and Biklie Rivers run all the way down from Myanmar while the Runti River flows from Uthai Thani in central Thailand. Local farmers have founded Naturally Sankhlaburi to improve the quality of their chicken production.
